CONTINUOUS THREADED ROD TIE DOWNS
Message From the President
Hello, and welcome to Go-Bolt. I would like to take a minute
and tell you a little about the history of Go-Bolt and the people behind
the product.
The Go-Bolt was developed in Florida by a building contractor soon after
Hurricane Andrew had devastated South Florida. To improve hurricane resistance in
construction, new building codes were being enforced that imposed many changes in
construction. Along with the new code requirements came a large increase in cost and much
confusion due to the method of using a multitude of straps and clips, or metal band-aids
as we call them, to tie the top of the building to the bottom.
The increased cost and complexity of the new codes were the driving forces
that pushed the development of Go-Bolt. Go-Bolt has proven itself to be very cost
effective and the simplicity of specifying, installing and inspecting the product is as
easy as you could want.
The people at Go-Bolt strive to be as helpful for you as the product
itself. We are not only experienced in product manufacturing, but are also experienced as
specifiers, builders and installers, giving us the ability to relate to your special needs
and respond with helpful and accurate responses when you call on us.
I thank you for your interest in the Go-Bolt system and invite you to
review all of our literature. The Go-Bolt staff looks forward to assisting you in your
tiedown hardware needs.
Many Thanks,
Ward Gould
President
